So all I have really been doing these days is trying to figure out what I’m doing post college. IBM made me an offer, but due to the tough economy, they had to put me on hold until at least the 2nd quarter. I wonder how many other people this kind of thing is happening to.
All of the jobs I have found want people with 5 - 10 years of experience… so how do you get a ton of experience if you’re coming fresh out of school? Frustrating.
In other news, check out my friend’s animation project in the works, it’s going to be one of the BEST animation projects ever coming out of Purdue and I can’t wait to see it finished here soon: http://anvil411.com/
Upcoming events -
Atlanta April 16th - 18th : The Georgia Dome baby, FIRST Frenzy baby! Can’t wait. I love robotics.
April 25th - Purdue Grand Prix, and FLIGHT OF THE CONCHORDS. Will be the most legend… (wait for it).. dary weekend evar.
More to come.

I’ve negelected my blog for far too long, time to change that.
One semester left in school. This whole finding a job thing is going to suck a big one.

So I will officially be done with my second summer internship this coming Friday. Then it’s off to Holiday World and camping which will be amazing.
I don’t know how many people who read this know this, but my most favorite band ever is mae. They’re easily the most down to Earth and just plain cool musicians I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting in person. Which makes me SO excited to hear about their up and coming plans to ditch the labels, producers, and basically the whole music machine in favor of actually creating and releasing their music on their own. In this day and age, it’s entirely possible for bands to release music on their own without having to rely on the big labels to put it out there.
This picture is still one of my favorites of all time, what a great night:

I’m so excited for what this final year at Purdue will bring. First semester will be tough for sure, but I’m still just ready for it.

So IRI was pretty much amazing for a lot of reasons. But I’ve been very sick this past week after it, most likely with bronchitis. Went to the doctor today and got some meds, hopefully I’ll be feeling better soon :]

Things seem to be pretty stagnant right now. Which would be okay, except for the fact that my car’s transmission basically blew up on me. $2500 dollars later, I’ll have my car back :[ There goes all that money I’m making this summer.
It seems like just when things are starting to go right and when I’ll gain a little ground in my finances, something happens to totally screw it up. That’s life, or so I’ve been told. I get the job and need the car to go to the job but the car breaks down because of the job.
Also, this is the 2.5 week milestone for Awesome Comic. Once I get my next check, I will be purchasing a Wacom tablet so I can just draw straight in photoshop and not have to scan anything :] I will probably do some hand drawings from time to time though. Go check it out and leave a comment if you haven’t.
